TransferU was created by students who experienced the transfer process firsthand. Our founder spent hours mapping credits, cross-referencing tools, and still never getting a clear answer. What should have been a simple question — "Will this class count?" — became days of uncertainty. TransferU exists to replace that uncertainty with clarity — so students always know how their credits transfer before they make a decision. TransferU is powered by AI and backed by the Google for Startups Cloud Program. Our platform combines real course data with proprietary matching technology to give students clear, reliable transfer insights.

Graeme Banks is a student at Miami University and founder of TransferU™. As a transfer student himself, he experienced firsthand how unclear and inconsistent the transfer process can be — and how difficult it is to get a straight answer.
Driven by that experience, he founded TransferU to make the process transparent, accessible, and student-first — a platform built so students have clarity before they register and confidence in every credit they earn.
